How do you define STEM?

STEM is where the individual learns through play, passion, and peers.

If you were able to be an Olympic athlete in any sport, which sport would you choose and why?

I would be a jiu-jitsu athlete because it is a real-life passion of mine.

How have you seen STEM positively impact students?

My favorite STEM moment, although it has taken place at different times and at different grade levels, is the moment where the kids see their own meaning in the work they are doing.

How do you define STEM?

STEM is real world application of the sciences, technology, engineering and math.

If you were able to be an Olympic athlete in any sport, which sport would you choose and why?

Gymnastics. I’ve always been fascinated watching the different categories and how the gymnasts are so flexible and spot on.

How have you seen STEM positively impact students?

My students are excited about learning because they are able to relate to many of the real world issues that they are engaging with. The love the engineering process and being able to be creative and talk about what they are learning.
