If you were able to be an Olympic athlete in any sport, which sport would you choose and why?

Curling. It is Air Conditioned & there is a fairly low chance of injury. Also not much running, but lots of Newton’s Laws. Gravity is generally not my friend, so no sledding or skiing.

How have you seen STEM positively impact students?

Yes, many of my more shy students really blossom and can lead through STEM. It provides a great platform for outside the box thinking as well as an ability for students to reach outcomes through many different ways.

If you were able to be an Olympic athlete in any sport, which sport would you choose and why?

I would be a swimmer as it takes long hours of practice to build the endurance and strength to perform in the pool. Along with physical strength you must also have mental strength to perform at your best each and every race.

How have you seen STEM positive impact students?

Yes, as the students are so excited and through building their critical thinking skills they are delving deeper into their learning.
